	Available for Mac? Remove this text

Probably been asked and answered, but I did look back through the last month of threads and there was no mention and the search feature won't let you search words that are less than 4 letters ...

So, does anyone know whether and if so when they'll be releasing this for Mac? And who will be doing the port if there will be one? I checked Macsoft, Macplay and Aspyr's websites - no dice.

Of course they'll make it for mac, they would be incredibly stupid not to do so.
Have no idea when it will be released though.

Your confidence may be misplaced. How long has the latest patch been out for PC now? 4 months? They haven't even said if they're working on an equivalent for the Mac. Doesn't sound like they're all that committed to the Mac platform.

Seriously, though, I have no idea if this is coming to the mac. If they've not put out the latest patch for it in the 4 months it's been out, then I think PTW will either not come out for the mac or be incredibly late in coming to it.

Probably about as commited as they where in getting multiplayer and 6 scenarios into civ3. Like they said they would before its release

Yeah, it will probably be late. However, they will make it, why make a mac civ 3 but no expansion?

Seriously - I have a PC as well, but it's a laptop and I prefer to play games on my desktop (better interface, larger monitor, better speakers etc). And there is no way I'm going to be able to convince my wife I need a third computer.

....Still, why drop an entire expansion just because there might not be MP? Mac players not getting 8 civs, two units, and extra terrain improvements is a heck of a lot to dop.
