Being uncontested in the nominations, I make this place rather a place to ask and advice me than a place to debate. Debates are of course welcome, but Im also looking for comments on the poll systems I initiated for the base location and terraforming, and for new ideas to improve this system.

what are your stance on the idea of maybe building a panama base between the inner sea we have spotted south of NA and the ocean east of NA? do you think it will be usefull and productive enough?

Put an end to popups!

Our sensors reported important amount of minerals to the east, surrounded bu rocky tiles. This could be the base for a new settlement, providing us a total control of the inner sea. I definetely support this idea, but I wont send any CPs to the east without escort, knowing that there seems to be a large fungus field.
I already asked both the DoEI and the DoBP to gather men and equipment to escort our citizens.

Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

about Roads network, and if elected, I will ask the Director of Base Production to build a Rover-former. According to my engineers, a rover with terraforming ability would build a road twice faster as a normal former.
(1st move to move ahead, 2nd move to build a road = 1 tile a turn, instead of 1 tile every two turns)
Therefore, I will wait for the new technology (I think we cannot do retro-engineering with Unity Scout Rovers) and until then, I will start to build this network with regular formers, if they are in good positions to do so.
The main question about roads remain : Should we "road" all our radius or just link our city ? I think I will poll that soon.
