HD replacement followed by a reinstall of *EVERYTHING* & something I just noticed for the very 1st time - b4 installing AC, during the new faction intro - Domai sports a bar code like tattoo over his left eye. Creepy. Like he's some sort of former slave become a free man, ala Spartacus via Auschwitz.

Did he arrive on Planet already so marked?

Did one of the other factions brand him?

Is it self-inflicted?

domai was a drone in the hive, hence the bar code. he commandeered a colony pod with several other drones and founded and new faction called "the free drones", and well, you know the story

Only the story Arrival, on the Firaxis website, suggests that. The profile of Foreman Domai merely says that he commandeered a colony pod as the Unity broke up, not who or where he was escaping from.

Seriously though, it is only speculated that Domai escapes from Yang, but there is no concrete evidence! Why if he was a drone, he could be from anywhere, including Pravin Lal and his beloved Peacekeepers or the tyrannical rule of Corazon Santiago and her evil, militant Spartans!
