	NooB Map Help Get a bigger avatar today!

Thanks in advance. I'm trying to play with one of the maps posted here -- CTP2>Maps>Packs>Tex>Binary>Dinotopia, but can't get the game to find the map to play no matter what directory I seem to download it to. Nor can I get it to play using the CTP2 editor program, saving it as a Map, Scenario (doesn't seem to save at all), or just launching it from the editor program. WHAT am I doing wrong and what exactly should I do instead???

First of all its a text map, so you have to import it through the console command "/importmap dinotopia" press the ' key to bring up the console and type that. Im not sure what the right directory Dinotopia.txt is supposed to be in, i think its "...\Call To Power 2\ctp2_program\ctp".

and by the way, whats your other login?

You also need to open the scenario editor before you open the console, then type it and press enter, it should load if its in the right directory.

You dont need to type anything, just put it in

H:\Call To Power 2\ctp2_program\ctp\save\maps

(H will probably be different for you)

Load the editor, then load map through that, easy

I really hope someone makes a dino scenario using this map, when the dinosaurs from civ3 PTW are converted
