	Olaf's October mini-tour: Luxury Quest Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations

OK, for those of us who have seen AU 107 and do not like starting positions that suck: Here is a good starting position!

Eeeh, forgot to mention one thing...

You have no luxuries on your tiny island. Your task is to beg, borrow, steal, conquer, buy, trade or whatever you like until you have all 8 luxuries in your resource box. Whoever posts a screenshot of your capitol with the earliest year clearly visible and 8 lux in the box is the winner.

Settings are as follows:

Emperor level, small map, random land settings, no barbarians (to favour skill over luck with huts), no cultural linkings, no respawning, max number of random opponents. Your tribe is (random) Persians with specific abilities ON.

Rules are: no restarting or reloading, no mods other than graphic, 1.29 patch installed. Winner is the player who gets access to all 8 luxuries at the earliest year and proves it by posting an undisputable screenshot.

My idea was to present a tournament with a clear goal to get an undisputable winner (or a sucker who is skilled with screenshot editing) It will be highly challenging but not to time consuming (for those of us who has a real life). Have fun!

Please tell me what you think of the concept of not using the regular CIV3 victory conditions, but a game where we clearly compete with each others and have one single winner.

I forgot: Tournament closes October 31. Plenty of time to finish, but don't be afraid to post spoilers before that. Special honors to the one who is first to post a screenshot, regardless of the year.

Good question... is the reseource per civ thing for strategic only, or luxury too?

This map seems to have only 2 luxuries. Haven't played it until now. Just finished AU 106 by cultural win at Emperor with score 4500 - just 10 turns from my spaceship launch!

Well, your task is then to hook both luxuries up. Shouldn't be to hard, considering the power of your UU and the size of the map. 3 hours gameplay max.
