Hercules, dear mister, I plea to you! Lemmy was indeed the culprit, I was in error. But Lemmy is a gentleman of a most esteemed history, I am sure he will agree that this won't happen again. He is a respected citizen of the highest degree and arresting him for this silly mishap he had after a few too many fungal vodkas is uncalled for. Could you consider letting him go this one time unscathed, dear mister Hercules sir?

I would see this sentence as most correct and just. There is simply no need to imprison him.
