	Vassal / Tribute states? Support Apolyton

I did a search to see if this has been done but turned up only this thread, nobody replied to the question about vassals so i guess it hasnt been attempted...

IMO it would be cool if you could 'vassilize' countries that are smaller and weaker than you and either totally fear you or love you. Then maybe you get 50% of their tax income and PW, you can move through their territory, and they always join your side in a war... maybe you even gain all their technologies or have a chance of gaining them each turn if theres any you dont have...

All this could be a prelude to 'politcal annexation', if relations are very high and they have been your vassal for so many years, you can invite them to become part of your empire, gaining all ther money, PW, tech, units, cities etc.

Im guessing this is impossible to do tho....

Yes it is possible to tax civilization.
Should be done through diplomacy with óptions like annual gold (like in CTP2) and annual PW. But i need to test if we need to replace some diplomatic proposals to do that or we could just add them.

Aren’t these options included in Peter Trigg’s new diplomod (annual tax etc.)? By the way, where is Peter? And what is the state of this mod?
