congrats OPD, welcome to the club of idiots who work for the common good

you'll find the admin options at the bottom of thread pages

please try your powers in some test threads:
you should be able to:
- open/close threads
- top/de-top threads
- edit thread info(title, icon, etc)
- edit polls
- post announcements (pm me for the way)
you should not be able to:
- delete threads
- edit/delete posts

chat powers:
in the civ3 room you should be able to use the following commands
- /modemoderated (put the room in moderated mode where only the mod and the people with voice can talk)
- /modeopen (put the room in open(=normal, non-moderated) more)
- /voiceUser (give voice to User)
- /unvoiceUser (take voice from User)
- /banUser (ban User from chat for 5 minutes)
- /unbanUser (un-ban User)

usefull notes on chat:
- click on a username in the userslist to copy it to the message entry box
- click on the + sign of a user with voice to copy an unvoice command(with it's username) in the message entry box

Arnelos, it's the current president, not OPD in specific (I think)...

Markos, how hard will it be to swtich the power to someone else? Not that I have a problem with OPD having it, but Term 5 does loom ... Forgetting about that, though, awsome work! This is pretty cool .

OPD, why not test your close power on the Directory? I don't plan on adding any posts (just editing), and if I do, then you can always test your open power .

Mark/OPD -- I guess I'm writing the C3DG newZupdate this week. Who do I PM it to, Mark/Dan or OPD?

Oh, ok, sorry, dunno know why I assumed announcements were news items... I know what you mean now, sorry for being stupid .

I'm assuming that announcements are for this forum only (and not the entire Civ3 section)... if so, that could be very useful...
