Man, I can't stand having to register at every freakin' website in existence just to do whatever it is that I want to do at the spur of that moment. I don't give a rats ass if it is free, I don't feel like registering, OK? Gawddammit!

It also pisses me off to no end to receive countless invitations in the mail to re-up my magazines and newspapers that I currently subscribe to, regardless of when my subscription runs out. For example, I have a 3 year subscription to PC-Gamer which is good until December 2004. Believe it or not, I received a letter two days ago telling me that NOW is the best time to renew for another 3 years, "before I forget." WTF????

I keep having to reinflate my front driver-side tire every few weeks, 'cause it's got a slow leak and I'm too cheap to have it fixed up. I'm close to breaking down and getting the thing patched, though, because it might only take a total of ten minutes a month to inflate the thing but it's still annoying as all hell to do it (and have to carry some of those hand-wipes around, or else have to wear dirty t-shirts that I can wipe my hands on when I'm done fondling the tire).

You know what else pisses me off? Being the last post on the page - for some reason, I'm absolutely convinced that nobody, but NOBODY reads the last post on the page. I'll be damned if I didn't do it again in the "Most Culturally Important Cities" thread.

I also hate being the last post in a thread - luckily that doesn't happen very often, but when it does -

Speaking of, I wonder if anybody has ever done a ranking of who is most likely to have the last post. Perhaps we could award him/her with the "Most boring poster" award???

People not giving me my couple hours of quiet every day.
Whether I sit in my room and stare on the floor or play non-stop Quake3, I need my few hours without anyone talking to me, asking me stuff, calling, touching, and in general doing anything that requires my attention.

a few things

1. those drivers that intentionally take some other lane to jump ahead of all the people already backed up in the lane they want. They expect you to be polite and let them in . . . I guess their time is more valuable.

2. My wife's habit of raising some matter for discussion when there are between 2 and 5 minutes remaining in some movie or TV show I am watching. This is especially aggravating if the show was immediately preceded by a drive or walk together in which the topic was never raised.

3. pop up swindows that spawn even more pop-up windows
