Finally the Civ3 Extra Pack is here!
It took quite some time and there's still some things to be done in order to make it perfect.
The Civilopedia still lacks a few entries as for the Poles and Vikings and a few units. Also, a few units are not yet what I call an ideal solution - the Ship of the Line is the same graphic as the Man-O-War, the Arab Camel Rider is too big, the Kobukson not animated and a few minor issues.
For copyright reasons, I was not able to integrate the graphics and information from the Polish-Civ Mod by LoD, so unless we can resolve this problem, we have to do without a Polish description and without the excellent graphics from the mod, which is a pitty.
Yet, I decided to release the ExtraPack a bit premature, because for one thing I thought that Civ3 players are used to premature releases , and secondly I wanted to release it before PTW comes out. A special thanks goes here for everyone who participated, also if he isn't mentioned in the ReadMe (complain if you think I forgot you).
I hope, you'll all enjoy playing the Apolyton Expansion Pack, have fun!

For the less-than-computer-savvy among us, is there any simple way to install all this stuff? I only ask because not everyone is innately familiar with every file in the Civ3 directory and I think it would probably take me an hour or so to sort all of these files out and send them to the correct places.

IT IS HERE! I have already added many of these civs in an uncomplete form to my game. This is great.
Luckily I have cable and it only took about 6 min.

I have already made a better mod with all the extras of this mod and some more. For me atleast, it is nothing new. I am sure it has been very useful for some people. |
Can you post your mod?
I for one appreciate the effort that went into this mod. Maybe its not as polished as the firaxian made civs, but it is pretty decent nonetheless.
