I dunno where MWIA is in this process, but remember, he's got to:

Consult with the court. (Optional, but I bet MWIA plans to...)
PM the people he's looking at and see if their interested.
Wait to give them a few days to think it over.
Get both responses.
If either say no, repeat process until two canidates can be found.

Only after that can he come to the public.

I might be wrong about the process -- it's very much up to the president. Having said that, I'd be highly supprised if MWIA wasn't contacting the people before nominating them, talking to the court, etc. Furthermore, it's a major decision, and it could take someone a day or two to decide.

So... let's all be patient . Of course, I'm just guessing, and MWIA's sure to have had a busy few days -- he may need a bit more time before he can even get started with the process. Either way, we should be patient in general, as I doubt there's much we can do to speed up the process besides reminding him about it .

Unless I am mistaken there will only be one this term. And I believe it is whoever we (MrWIA and I) appointed to take over Captain's/Trip's role after he retired. Those were Kring and Shiek. Don't know which was for which position, though, or which one was only going to be for 2 months.

The current court is:

1. Epistax, his term would expire later this week
2. nye, he was just appointed last month to another 3 months
3. kramerman, he either replaced trip or captain
4. sheik, he replaced whoever kramerman did not replace
5. kring replaced me last month and is for three months

whoever replaced Captain (Cap resigned from three month term and his replacement was to complete that term), would be up for reappointment/replacement

whoever replaced Trip (Trip's term was one month so his replacement was to a fresh three month term), still has another months to go.
