GeneralTacticus: To clarify, do you mean expelling them, destroying them with a military unit (which provokes Vendetta), or destroying them with a probe (which will not cause Vendetta but risks losing a probe)?

I believe that you meant the third option, but if it wasn't completely clear to me, it might not be to others as well.

Sorry, didn't see your question before.

I wouldn't support "Seek & Destroy" missions that could leave a base without its probe defence for more than a turn at most. Let them get close, them kill them. Don't just attack them because they're passing through our territory (Say, towards another faction for instance).

I agree with that. I'm only talking about ones that are headed for our bases. Attacking those that aren't would be a waste, for both of us.

Yup. No special precautions against probes from Morgan should be necessary. The only change might be that, now we know he's there, that we'd have probes in the bases closer to the border sooner than we might have otherwise.
