I added a new improvement into improve.txt, and edited the number at the top of the file. However, when I try to enter the game I get a message saying that "IMPROVE_FLAG_FOOD_VAT" already used in this improvement, even though I did not touch that. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Try counting again the number of improvements and making sure that is equal to the number of improvements in improve.txt as this is where I went wrong. Also check the numbers elsewhere, though I'm not sure what the total on the improveicon.txt (not definite on this name) actually represents as its not the total number of things listed.
