Pollution off would make the game easier for both human and AI but actual this is more true for the human then for the AI. So it would be less a challange and it would be less realistic.

Boodlust on would make the game harder, because you have to kill all opponents in the end, but actual I like to have the decission in the case of doubt we can kill all the other civs in the end anyway or achieve a glorious scientific victor. Or sign up the glourious great peace world alliance.

So bloodlust off and pollution on.

Actual this is very simple: To make peace first to have ressources free for building up our glorious empire and of course our army, too. Therefore Gaia should be possible, and because in my opinion the Gaia Victory is a more valuable victory then the Kill All Opponents Victory. As you have to do a lot more for such a victory then for the bloody victory in therory the bloody victory is possible all over the game in theory. The Gaia Victory is only possible at the end of the time line.
