This NES takes place in Australia where federation did not occur. The year is 1960 and each day will add one on.
I'm not bothering with too much of a story as that is your job.

Also from time to time outside influences and the like will come into play. That is where I come in, I will give out those influences to you in an entirely random and hopefully unbiased way. They can be anything like uprisings to a war occuring overseas that you could help out in.

Western Australia: - An Aboriginal Rebellion has broken out in the northern region of your nation known as the Kimberleys. Unless if its put down in two years they will join the Central Australian Empire.

CA - You may if you wish give aid to the rebels in the WA, however if you do so, public opinion of the European community may turn against you.

Eastern Australia: - drought is sweeping thorugh your lands, causeing an epiedemic in the Western half our your country. Health issues need to be addressed. The epidemic is also causing economic problems and your economy is now slowing going into recession.

Queensland - The dorught though less severe is effecting your south west. If you do not help the farmers in this region, a famine could occur.

Victoria - Despite your efforts of quarrantine the epidemic in the Eastern Australia has spread to the north of the state. Although less severe Health services are sorely needed and the economy may start to suffer before too long.

New Zealand - The USA has aksed you to help them in a foreign war. If you do join public opion may turn against you but the USA will give you lots of money, along with your economy picking up due to muntions jobs. If you do not the USA will understand, and some in the public will think of you as a coward. The effect on your army will be a slight decrease for five years.

Papau New Guina - No major event

Borneo - A surprise result in the census conducted last year shows the birth rate increasing. Your population will be upgraded in three years time, however this will cause extra burdens on public services.

Indonesia - Revolts have occured in the capital Jakarta and damage has been done. The economy is shaky at best and the army is n the verge of mutiny. Serious measures need to be undertaken

Pacifica - Their is growing oppostion to your ruling party the Military and Expansion Party

i am currently working on an irrigation scheame that will be put into effect within the next 3 years
it shall consit of suppying of irrigation equipment to farmers at lower then wholesale costs with free installation for the first year! after that normal costs shall be in effect. i hope that with this scheame and also with my fndraiser then i can help fight the drought that is currnetly effecting the queensland area

Indonesia:

I offer a MPP with my kind neighbours from Borneo since we mostly share the same religion and I ask for some military support to help me with those rebels.

What do those rebels want, anyway?

Since the streets are insecure, I install a new secret police force, which can arrest anyone who's on the streets after 8 p.m. and is collecting data about political enemies.

I'll also increase the funding for military but to be able to do that I have to decrease the educational funding.

I ask for foreign aid in order to stabilize my country, something which everyone should be interested in.

I accept NAPs from all countries, but I want them to be reviewed every three years, since I don't trust those selfish developed countries, unless they show me they're trustworthy (e.g. by investing into my country ).

Following Victoria's Example, The Government of New Zealand condemns the Indonesian actions taken against their own people. Especially the decreasing of the Educational spending.

We will call for a world-wide trade embargo against Indonisia, which will be lift only once their leader come the his sense.
We hope than evey nation in the area will join the embargo.

Any deal done with your country will be broken.

Central Australian Empire is now officially known as Aboriginal Republic of Australia (abriviated as ASA). The form of government is switched to constitutional democracy and at the country officially applies for UN membership. However a transitional government is put in place. It includes different members of the Pro Reformation party and the new Democatic Liberty Party (lead by Rasbelin). Elections will be held in a few years time when the infastructure of the society has been developed with improved educational and social welfare systems.

Maybe giving semiautonomy rights could be an idea worth to consider too. None the less, I also suggest a joint project to excavate the resources of the deserts and other areas with low production ratings.

A group of Freedom Fighters has overthrown the dictatorship of Pacifica. People are now celebrating the new freedom established by the provisary government. A social democracy will soon be instaured in Pacifica.
