I wonder if England will bother to submit moves. His NMR last turn was
actually more effective against my forces than any of his previous turns.

The Dutch always choke in the big one.

Q: What's the difference between a Chinese man and a Chinese woman?

Press:

Mexico, you bumbling fool! Get the hell out of the way.

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA - April 17, 1873 - An executive order was issued by
President Jefferson Davis Ruffhaus VIII to the War Department ordering the
invasion of continental Europe. All preveious arrangements in place with
the treacherous Tutonic twits and the boorish British boobs have been
recinded. Named as commander of the European theater, Lieutenant General
James Longstreet will command three armies across the 'pond'. Cavalry
commanders J.E.B. Stuart, Nathan Bedford Forest, and John Singleton Mosby are
expected to spearhead the infantry with mounted units, each the size of a
corps, with the daring that made them famous when liberating the Confederacy
from the iron grasp of the Whiskered Tyrant.

The President also lauded former Yankee Admiral Faragut of the Pacific Fleet
as his outnumbered warships continue to hold the Phillipines and capture
additional territory in spite of the best efforts of the "defiant" Chinese
navy. Of course the the ever modest Faragut claimed the the ineptness of
the Chinese made it all too easy. The admiral reportedly exclaimed "Damn the
torpedoes, those rice barges [Chinese warships] ships are junk! Full Speed
ahead!"

In other news Mr. Ruffhaus applauded the continued success of our brilliant
Mexican allies, and congratulated them on their prowess

Dearest China: I offered you my services, and you spat in my face. CSA will solo, and you'll have no one to blame but yourself.

Spring 1874 Map:

http://www.geocities.com/ruffhaus8/IMPERIAL/S1874.gif

A few observations on the orders as I made the map:

* Austrian A Metz (unordered)
* Austrian F Tyrhennina Sea (unordered)
* Chinese F Sunda Sea cannot cut support of a unit (CSA F Celebes Sea) that is supporting an action against it unless it succeeds in dislodging that unit.
* Chinese A Bokhara - KHV bounces 2v2 with Turkish A Afghanistan
* Chinese A KSL bounces with A Bokhara * CSA F Barents Sea - Norway fails 1v3
* CSA F Morocco - Western Mediterranean Sea fails 1v2
* CSA F Celebes Sea is not attack by Mexican F Timor Sea (see below), nor is it's support broken by Chinese F Sunda Sea (see above)
* Mexican F Timor Sea was ordered to "CEL" (Celebes island/s) not to Celebes Sea
* Mexican F Queensland - Timor Sea succeeds, as F Timor - Celebes (island/s) does
* Tukish A Mecca (unordered) though support and convoy orders for it are referenced

Without being too picky about this, may I ask that the GM look into the Mecca order please? I've shown it on the map, but if the unit being convoyed is still responsible for submitting its own order.

When intent is clear I'm always lenient about this sort of thing more or less like I never have countries go into civil disorder.
Should have been clearer about both, but now GM policy has both helped and hurt the CSA and anti-CSA alliances so things are even now I guess...

Increase Your PM Length

I'm not sure that anything helped the CSA at all in these decisions. I was looking for an answer and I got it. Thank you.

I know that we're talking different games and different GMs, but I'm really getting ****ed on both ends of the rule interpretations spectrum (see CGN Imperial Dip). Of course that's why I don't think that you should stray from the rules at all.

I might also point out that we waited over a week past the deadline for the final set of orders to be submittted (and that leniency might have been exhausted at that point?) One would have hope that with an extra week to prepare that the submitted orders would be ... in order, eh?
