ok, i'm starting the thread for my new (now named 'current') game.

You seemed to like it, so i'll upload my current map! Just like my last game, i'm on an island, by my self. But their is a channel only 2 squares wide between me and the nearby civs!

I'm also being settled on! I hate that, they don't even ask for planning permission!

So i've turned into settler feaver! Got to settler on this land as much as possible! ASAP!

ok, American demanded 100gold and my world map, i told him abe to go **** him self, and he declared war. They have a city right next to my top left one so i'm gunna take it then get peace!

Workers are playing the evasive and i'm gunna keep them out of reach of every enemy unit should sombody decide to declare war on me!

with my excillent diplomatic actions, i managed to sell contact with Americans and Iqouris over 7 times to get contact with every civ!

Well actually it against the law to import slaves in USA around 1814. You could own those you already had and any that were born slaves until emancipation.

Hey Hazie, who are the other civs? Also, how about some screenies of your main map; the minimap is great for an overall picture but nothing beats the look of a city surrounded and under seige.

Nope, 1865 is correct. The Emancipation Proclamation didn't make slavery illegal, it simply freed all slaves in the rebelling states. The 13th Ammendment, ratified in 1865, made it illegal.

hehe, i killed the city, and about 2 turns later they made a city in the exact same spot with the same name and i killed it in my turn again!

here is a list off my head.

Me, Britain,
above is Iqouris,
Then America,
on that island is the aztecs,
the island north of that one has the Russians,
pink is France,
Yellow is Egypt
Green is greece,
blacky brown is germany
one of the reds is rome. i'll take a look, those are just off my head!

here is the current political enviroment
America demanded somthing, i told abe to **** him self, abe declared war. Abe got Aztecs to declare war on me, i got iqorus to declare war on America. Aztecs got the Russians to declare war on me!

i've begun militery enlargement. lots oh horsemen.

One of my horsemen managed to kill a lone swordmen gaurding a city, and then when i killed him, instead of taking the city, it instead ended up being gaurded by a galley!

ok, i got some people to allie against my enemys, but now some of my friends who are allied against civs like france, are going to the aztecs for help against france, so i've pritty much turned my enemy against its only possible friends! hahaha!

Just a fine point, but since the states had broken away and were not part of the country at the time and the remaining states had already made it illegal, does that throw some mud on the picture? The succesionist states no longer were compelled to follow the US constitution (until defeated).

On topic, I would advise you to grab all of our continent ASAP, before more pesky Iriqous or American cities pop up. Don't worry about invading their continent just yet.

yep, the reasons that i became imperialist in my last game seem to be coming round again.
i get sick of being at war and not making any progress offensivly so i end up making a full frontal attack and killing anybody who wants a peace.

ok, good news, i've begun to download loads of big files from the internet, and the only game i ever play on while that is happening is civ3, so expect some updates.
i want into a sims phase so i didn't update!

ok, making progress, it seems everybody with citys on my island have stupidly declared war on me! hehe! No ****ing chance!

I'm taking their citys real easy now!

ok, no more enemy citys on my island!
But they still have 1 city on an island that i like to call my own!

i think i'll plan an invasion!

currently my armys very small! it takes me a few turns before i can mount any offensive cuz the knights take 3 or 4 turns to get to where i need them.
However! Any militery i do have is likely to become useless if i don't have the techs! So i'm building libarys and unies!
