	PM to buddies...? Support Apolyton, buy Alpha Centauri

Where has the "PM to Buddies" function gone?

I just spent a few minutes searching for it, and unless I have just had a brainfart, it isn't there.

I use this a lot in the Demo games - it's very handy to add all the Ministers to your buddy list and PM them all at once.

If someone can please tell me what happened to it, how to PM to multiple ppl at once without it, or at least tell me where it is and call me a grade A first class Village Idiot of the highest order, I would appreciate it.

Half an hour later and still no mockery from H Tower.... I take it you can't find it either?

all i see is new message, pm tracking and folders... and the pm to buddies doesn't show underneath my buddy list either. maybe its cause I use Moo3 default

I changed my settings to Moo3 default. They still show up for me.

Edit, I checked all Moo3 settings and they show up in all.

SD - how many Buddies do you have? Maybe that's it, as I have around 20.

H Tower has at least one person in his buddy list, so thats not the problem.
Maybe check your options in the control panel - that you have pm's enabled.

16 buddies, pms are turned on, receive email when i get a pm turned on, show a pop up window when received a pm turned on. but still no button

EDIT: since I was spending so much time in buddy section i deleted some of the people i never talk to anymore, so i'm down to 12 buddies now, still no button. can you just seperate names with a coma, like in an email and have it sent to multiple people?

I have 100+ buddies and the button shows up just fine, so it can't be that.

What happens when you try to access the page where you actually select the buddies to send a PM to directly?

No problem here either with the "Default" style. And yes, over 20 buddies on the list. I would say that you must be either blind or just have bad luck, MWIA.

i get the same thing as MWIA This could be because Markos turned me into a quasi mod or because i can view the private apolyton team forum...

Could be it H Tower - we are both mods of our respective Demo Game forums. Does this mean mods can't talk to their buddies?

It's a lonely life being mod. Ironically, I guess this means the ability to PM buddies comes back when we don't need it as much - when we are no longer in a position in the Demo games.

I will check with DBTS to see if he has the same problem.

The problem seems to be linked with DG mods that have special rights compared to other moderators. At least I haven't experienced that problem at all.

2. take over StP and usurp Ras' powers
   
3. claim to be Ming's long lost twin brother
   
4. hold MarkG hostage until he relents
   
5. save Mark or Dan's life (though i wouldn't count on that one)

if you become president of any of the demo games, (except civ2) you become a quasi mod in that forum. You can't have civ2 because I refuse to give up my privledge of doing nothing in the civ2 demo game forum

The 2nd and 3rd ones were good. You could also add these:

- kidnap St.Leo and extort him to give his password for Poly
- claim that you're actually Gramphos and that an evil hacker has hijacked your account for modifying thr code on Poly.
