No turn to Birdbreath today as Lung was denied access to home due to yet another bushfire!!!

Yes, another inferno developed near my home at cut rail lines and highways yesterday Personally, Lung doesn't believe it's a "coincidence" that another fire started within metres of the only main road in millions of square kilometres of bushland

To make matters worse, dickheads get off the delayed train and light up ****ing cigarettes!!! From now on, January 30th will be designated "Slap a smoker day" by yours truly

And i was so looking forward to continuing my cat-and-mouse game with BirdCrap, too This is going to be a significant challenge for both of us! However, i doubt that this game will finish any time soon....

Funny you should mention fire and eucalyptus. When I was a teenager our house burnt to the ground. It went up so fast the investigators thought that there might have been an accelerant involved (as in arson.)

As it turned out, just prior to the fire, we were having a bit of a flea problem with our dogs. And for some reason my parents thought that eucalyptus leaves would drive them out of the house.

Well those leaves had been on the carpet for a couple of weeks when my brother had some friends over one day. One of the left a cigarette smoldering and it caught the carpet on fire. Well the oil in the carpet caused the whole house to go up in a matter of minutes.

Stange but true.

the worst thing with fires i ever experienced was my father's car burning out when i was like 8.
oh and some years later i put a nail into the power socket and instantly pulled my hand back when i felt the electricity. pretty close.
