	Apolytonian Geographic Society - We need help! Suffering from ads?

"We" means "I". As everybody can see now, I'm alone in the AGS, and the world is BIG. Because this, I need some help in the map making job. Someone who can work with Photoshop or similar...

I would help, but I already have the $Mini-game, Public Works and people screaming for more Leaderheads and graphics for this game concept and that one, so I really don't have the time.

I have Coreldraw 9 & Corel Photo 9. But my Ministry job takes a LOT of my time. I'm also still a novice with the both Graphics programs. I've basically just tried things and see how they come out. My report charts are one thing that I've learned to do.

If anyone has a fairly good graphics program and you really have no clue as to how to work it? Do what I did, just play around with it and you can learn a few things. Some of them can have quite a steep learning curve, but you won't learn anything, if you don't try. You might get fairly frustrated, but once you can publish your first map/graphic that you have done, you'll be proad of yourself and want everyone to see that you can do.

See if you can give Aro a hand.

I use and love Pixia (link is for english version). It can handle layers, and overall I think it's quite nice for a free program. Vlad, if you're interested in helping Aro, I think it'd probably do nicely. (The only thing it really can't handle is .gif format, due to patent issues that are common amoung free programs).

I'm pretty good with paintshop pro. With what looks to be my impending defeat in the Civ2 DG presidential elections, I'm planning on retiring from public service there and getting more involved in this game. So basically, yeah, I'd like to help.

I've got experience with photoshop and would be glad to help out if someone can help me get my hands on the program ; its too damn expensive for me to afford
But, being an industry standard, its a seller's market just like Civ, I guess.

We have some projects, like the Regions Map (or Provinces Map), the Coordinated map, a project of Caesarqbear, Tactical maps in war times...
You can use the maps on my site as a basis, and develop your projects, too.
Ixnay and Ruby, you can pick any (or some ) project you want, and if you don't have storage space in the internet, I can provide this, just PM me.
Ruby_maser, I don't know where you can find the photoshop , but you can try the Ada's sugestion...
