	Can we have less Topped threads, please? Enter the AD-FREE zone

I noticed that the Forum page is half full of topped threads. It seems to me that some of these threads need not to be topped at all. With all respect to the starter of the thread and the person who's topping all this - do we really need that many ..?

Maybe we can have 1 thread for foreigners (i.e. non-players, newbies), 1 thread for the Government, 1 thread for judicial issues and 1 for the current turn issues.

What do you think?

I completely agree

the less threads topped the better

this is the kinda thing i tried to enforce when i demanded the foreign-boards embassy thread be detopped.

still looking for the culprit of who topped that one...

Yes, we have a directory; let it point towards all of the important threads without them being topped.

I agree, less topped threads please. Tidying up a bit won't hurt anything....

Ninot I like your new avatar just as much as Mr. Burns, there's something about Sideshow Bob that just seems almost too appropriate here.

I will have a look at it now, but there are a few things that belong at the top: the Directory, join, orders and save/reports threads for sure. Ministers keep requesting that I top official polls, and I am slave to their whim in this respect. When the current polls expire I will detop them and when I get another request for a poll to be topped, I will see if it will suffice o just have a Directory link to all current polls that people will check often.

I also support the less topped threads.

You could more of them linked in the directory; and for me, it is easier to access stuff through the directory than trying to sort through a bunch of topped threads. A good directory would allow anyone to scan through it and go to the threads that he or she wanted to see and respond without having to wade through a bunch of stuff that they may not care about.
