How about a simple theme, like: "AU 202: Play the World and MP". I think the changes in the game and the differences in MP play are enough "material" for us to learn, no?

AU would be cool. How do you guys set that up?

We have 12 right now (2 are waiting for PTW to arrive).

We could get 2 4 player games going. Who wants to organise that? I can wait to get in one since I am expecting to be quite busy for a bit.

SlightlyMadman would be good for organising the teams. Do you AU guys want to confer with him about the mechanics for setting up the games?

If you're going to wait for SR and alva to get PTW when it's out in Europe before starting the big game/tourney then I'd like to volunteer too.

grrrrrrrrr. I wouldn't mind taking on all comers with the Legions, even though the new UUs and traits are very powerful...

However, I will go along with the consensus. I can always bash the AI and any unlucky enough to volunteer for a duel in MP.

I think we haven't enough experience about the pros and cons of the PTW AI behavior to come out with a mod, so most likely an AU PBEM tournament means at this point a simple PBEM tournament with participation of the AU staff. Btw, how do mods apply in MP? Like in SP as a part of the savegame?

Rules mods would be part of the hosts configuration when he starts the game, I think. The principle of the rules being set at start would hold.

That would mean that players would need some extras installed if any units/buildings/etc. were added. I think.

So for AU you could make a scenario with standard rules, to generate the map, then have 2 or 3 games using the same Map and standard rules.

Heh. Interest seems to have dropped off, or people have hooked up elsewhere.

I will contact the madman and ask him to get us set up for a 4 player, 4 AI game.

Once the game proliferates in Europe, maybe we can get a TTA game going.

Any other ghosts still haunting this thread?

I'm also still waiting, although I meanwhile got the game. We're already too many people to play in a single game, so we'll have to split in groups anyway. 2 groups with 4 and one group with 5 maybe, or if one more joins, 2 groups with 4 and 2 with 3 each.

Groups, in which all have got the game, could start meanwhile. Btw, has anyone an idea how the splitting in groups could be done?
