	Is MP really THAT bad using a 56k? Support Apolyton, buy Civilization 2

I could, and still can, play all Rainbow Six games on my 56k, multiplayer, and have a fairly lag free enviroment as long as there werent over like 10 players... is the lag very bad for PtW?

I would hope not, especially under the turn based mode, considering the obvious.

Yep, don't even try it right now, maybe once the netcode gets a bit more polished you can give it a go.

so far I've had no luck with 56K... couldn't even play the game. I'd like to know if anyone with a 56K out there HAS been successful at playing MP with it so I'd know whether it was just me or not.

My install was successful and I've got the patch already so its not that. But whenever I enter a hosted game, it was not registering a ping rate at all. Still not sure why.

Really? That doesnt sound to good :\ Ill have my copy of PtW in just about 30 minutes or so, Ill try it than too...
