	please insert disc? Got spare money?

I get this error yet the cd is in the cdrom. I tried my cdrw drive as well. Neither work. Help me make it work please.

Your PTW cd is the drive I take it

yeah the cd is in the drive. The PTW cd. Its there. and thanks for the tip there haha.

The PTW cd is in the CD ROM. I just did a fresh install and ran the game without a problem. I patched it and now I get the insert disc prompt.

yeup. I kind of want to just play unpatched single player but i mean i got it to play multi and unpatched kept crashing.

Arggg. I wish they could get that right. It isn't a burner or DVD? There should be no problem.

Unfortunately, you may have to contact Infogrames and wait for a no cd fix.

Or, do you know someone with extra equipment? Try a different CD ROM drive.

Try to start it up with the original Civ3 disk in and see if that works

I've read that is a common problem with the warz version also.

Is your CD-ROM drive old?

I have a belief concerning installing a new game when there is already a patch avialable for it...

First install the PTW game (make sure you already have Civ3 installed).

Then start a single player PTW game. Build your first city, then EXIT the game.

Now install the PTW Patch. Then try lauching the game again.

Let us know if this works.
