For the last several months, my modding campaign has been out of commission due to the fact that someone scratched by CTP2 disk up pretty bad. However, whenever I can afford to buy a Game Dr., I'll repair that disk, and be back in business!

On other fronts, bad news ladies and gents, I won't be making a WWII scenario anytime soon .

But, I am thinking of making something a little better:

The American History Series

This will not be any ordinary mod. This will be a series of Scenarioes that will encompass the history of the United States of America.

Part 1 - The Revolutionary War
Part 2 - The War of 1812
Part 3 - The Mexican War
Part 4 - The American Civil War
Part 5 - World War I
Part 6 - World War II
Part 7 - Korean War
Part 8 - Vietnam War
Part 9 - The Gulf War
Part 10 - The Terror Wars

For anyone who is fascinated with American History, or is an American, this will be a must-have for any CTP2 player!

I hope your not taking too much on there Ive been sloooooowly working on an Aztec scenario for many months now and barely have time to do that. Will you be including scripted events? Or is it just a "MOD Scenario"?

P.S. I take it your from america (hence the American scenarios) but CtP2 can be picked up for just £5 in UK $8 i think

The Scenario will not be released in one huge lump sum.

The scenario will be released in Parts as described above, with the Revolutionary War first, and i will need to know how to create message boxes, events, et cetera.

I might consider letting the British be a playable character, but you gotta deal with the French if you get whipped at Saratoga!

In light of Saddam Hussein's acceptance of the new resolution by the Security Council, Gulf War II will not be included in the Series.

I now have a couple ideas of how I will play out the American Revolution Scenario

A - You have to hold out against the British until the French arrive, if you're the Americans. If you're playing as the British, crush the rebellion BEFORE the French arrive!

B - Saratoga. If playing as the Americans, you MUST win the battle of Saratoga in order to recieve help from the French.

The good news is that The American History Series will finally go online in the near future!

The bad news is that it will not be on Call to Power II...

The American History Series will be made for Civilization III. I have a thread on the Civ III forum with an explanation. At least I won't have to go through the effort of editing all the uniforms...

lol and i thought u had actually started making the scenarios

shame to hear that anyway cause ctp2 is a much better game and i feel it will be wasted efforts making it for Civ3 is its so incapable compared to CtP2

but yes you will get a bigger audience there, until PTW gets its final patch at least
