Speaking of the Chinese phrase...
NO ONE refers to people in the space program with the word "taikonaut" or whatever.

Rather, the phrase is "tai kong ren" = space person. If they're american, its called an american space person, if russian, a russian space person, etc.
Ah, Chinese is such a simple language. no plural form, no tense, flexible grammar, it's great. And the language is gender-neutral too.
