	I find it amusing how people keep making excuses for Firaxis Suffering from ads?

They seem to have once again delivered a product that is defective out of the box. I mean in terms of interoperability with common software systems, firewalls and the fact that you play more than 2 human players and you are screwed. They've had to patch the damn game in a major way within like a week of release.

Instead of making apologies for Firaxis, why aren't you making complaints to your local consumer protection authorities? There are heavy fines in most Western countries for releasing shoddy products. Maybe the product should be withdrawn until they fix it.

Why do you all put up with this crap? If people bought a car in this condition there'd be law suits.

Its time computer game consumers stopped being treated like mugs and saps by companies like Infogames. Until you take action, nothing will change.

It will be interesting to see how long this thread lasts. Usually the Firaxis people complain behind the scenes and Mark or Ming dutifully shut down the disenting thread

so AH, about pirating the game first to try it out , and then decide to buy, what is your stance on this sort of behaviour, something i am in favour of...but many of the "angels" here dont' believe in it...lol

I think its an important issue - why do comp game buyers put up with defective productive?

Its against the law. But gamers don't use the law.

seriously though, with all the *****ing by gamers about the game and an obvious attempt by infogames to capitalize on the christmas rush.....thats captialism at its best...rape the consumer, and come down harshly on anyone who doesn't want to be duped by corporate swine.....

it should be illegal to release games that aren't fully tested .... and in this day and age of the internet, not including multiplayer is so.............. i don't know how would i say it...... civ2 or last millenium

so its 54.95 for the civ3 and 29.95 for the addon...of which both games came out full of bugs..... gee thanks for creating a game that is flawed, how about some counterfeit money to pay for it oh thats right, that is what warez is for
