On 12/12/2002 the standings of what I could deduct on these boards is as follows:

I have ordered my copy on www.interactcd.com today. I haven't received any warnings while ordering (like This item can currently be shipped only to US destinations or something equally disgusting), but I am still waiting for any email confirmation or shipping notice.

euh, couldn't you just pick it up in a shop on the 22??,
probably alot cheaper too

Well I had a 5€ discount at that site so it was a bit cheaper for me
From my experience I should get it sooner because this site delivers stuff in a couple of days, whereas usually I can't find stores with the games I'm looking for within 1 week of the release date.

My brother-in-law told me he had a cracked version 2 weeks ago. But I would not like to install a cracked expansion over a legal copy. Cracked games are not good for MP over official servers anyway. And with all the bugs reported, why install it at all, without patches?

I will get my new 2.56 MHz CPU state-of-the-art gaming PC next week. I might try some action games for a change, until PtW eventually makes it's way here. It was about 2 years since I tried a new action game that was compatible with my graphics card.

Just received the shipping confirmation, so InteractCD really ship PtW to Europe... actually, even to the Czech Republic, which is quite often considered even "worse" than Europe.

I paid $29.95+$10 shipping (plain US Airmail). Perhaps not the cheapest way to get PtW, but the release date here will be even later than Nov 22, so... well... devil take the bucks... after all, I still have nothing to give myself for Christmas...

I bought PTW on a trip to USA but ordered the German Version (for my wife, she prefers games in her mother tongue) by Amazone.de, delivery date: 22/11/2002 .

Hi Alva848, I have made some calculations and I think it is around 46 €, but we have to add the shipment cost, anyway, as soon as I receive the game I will post it here. By the time being I have received (2 minutes after ordering) the confirmation. If you want to order and you do not speak German (I think it is German), try to have a dictionary, or a friend that can help you, it took me a little bit to realize what ORT meant (city, or place of residence)

No, sorry, I never ordered from them, I just buy the games in one of their local shops.
69 SFr. is 47 € btw.

Yes! I am enjoying my copy. Although MP seems to be quite buggy. I was never able to join an Internet session so far and on LAN i get 'out of sync' errors....

I also live in the Czech republic and I ordered from the Swiss site indicated above pcjoy... unfortunately they donot deliver the CZ They sent an email the second day to warn me

I taken www.ebgames.com but 4 days later my order not moved of one pouce ... Always status = "on hold" ...
Customer's service send to me a mail two days after order for say that they have difficult to have info on my bank or any thing ....

You are doing fine. I have asked around here in my hometown in Denmark a few days ago and most shops says: "Play the.. what?". Its not even in their systems yet . Well, I will not pay 10 $ extra for PTW, but I wouldn't mind if they just got it out as fast as they could. I have this feeling they think they win something by having it come out in large parts of the world at the same time. Perhaps its me, but I don't see the gain.

Good news, I ordered my copy last wednesday from gamestop (thanks BigFurryMonster ) it was around 18:00, and minimun 6 hours less in the States, and today Friday I have my copy on my hands at 12:00, here in Brussels. So Gamestop and UPS thanks. Whoever wants money results, it was everything (including Belgium taxes) 60$.
