	The ramponing [...] forces ... ????? Support Apolyton, buy Civilization III: Complete

Never had it before, but now in two games:
One, resp. two races (of 16) made self destruction. "The ramponing forces of the English had destroyed the English" (and same for Romans happened little later in same game).

Is this a feature in the game??

Hmm... In one of my recent games, I had encountered a "clone" civ, i.e. a second civ with the same name and the same abilities as another one (in my case there were two Americas on the map). As I neither used a mod nor changed anything in the settings since the last session (standard map, opponents: France, America, England, Japan, Russia, China, Egypt, difficulty: emperor) I suppose this is some kind of bug.

Well, two days ago, I conquered the second America...
