I have a Mandy Moore album and will admit it. I hate when people won't admit that they like music because it is unpopular. I do not like her other albums, or other singers like her, but I refuse to not buy a good album simply because it isn't cool to listen to her.

I hate social security for the old. Giving money to the poor and the handicapped is good, but being old should not be a qualification for social security. Many old people become disabled, and then they should recieve social security.

I am religious, but I believe that God doesn't exist.

CSI and clones suck.

TV in general sucks.

Civ3 and Black & White actually pretty damn good games.

Christ's style of communism? Come on monkspider, religion is a form of oppression, to get people to tow the line, to garner supplication by promise of eternal reward, making worldly suffering insignificant or even positive, which is very dangerous, and certainly not communist. It is another shackle, one that needs to be shed.

My unorthodox viewpoint? Most of them really. I am just hardline scientific, there is no divine truth, everything needs evidence. And this tends to permeate many aspects of my life.

The Confederate Army was not light-years better than the Union Army, they were just on the defensive more often at a time when the technology of war greatly favored defense.

In fact many of the geezers ranted about how the abolition of slavery in the free states was a violation of their individual rights and promised one day to correct the situation.

The Confederacy was run by a bunch of twits. If left to their own devices they would have depopulated the South to satisfy their twisted sense of mission to spread the gospel of white superiority throughout the Americas. Southerners should get down on their knees every "Lee-Jackson day" and thank God that Lincoln, Grant, and Sherman liberated us from the grasp of that bunch of psychopaths. Jackson was an especially twisted psycho. Lee was a spineless wimp who gave in to his wife's foaming at the mouth rabid racism.

Carpetbaggers and scalawags did not ruin the chance for the south to recover from the Civil War. European entrepreneurs, who invested in cotton and tobacco plantations in India, Egypt and Turkey did that. In fact, the stockholders of the Suez Canal Company can thank the southern plantation owners for saving their butts by giving them the opportunity to increase trade between the Indian Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.

Guns kill people. That's what they were invented to do and they do it very well, thank you.

ok let's go:

Jesus is my personal buddy. This is unpopular with in the age group I belong to. But I'm not super religious, or I'd be going to hell everyday. I just think he's a cool guy, not judgemental at all. We'd be hanging all the time, but he's busy, so we have just mental connection. He makes me smile often. And no, I'm not joking. And I think it's cool, my friends think otherwise.

I think alcohol should be banned. I've been dry for a long time now (cruice boat trip does not count). I don't like the atmosphere when people are drunk. It should be banned.

Some of the drugs that are now illegal should be legal. Mostly cannabis. I'm not a smoker though, and that's unpopular too with in my age group.

Also there can be no peace in the world.

I want to join some foreign army, so I could do some war, but at the same time I hate war and never want to go. But I'll volunteer the first chance I'll get. I know I'll come back with lots of mental problems, physical problems, if I even come back. Still I want to know it myself. I know you couldn't understand me.

Here's a few of mine:

Coffee may well be the worst beverage ever produced, and anything coffee flavored is nearly as bad.

I can drink like a fish, but for the life of me can't figure out how people can view beer as refreshing.

"Gangsta" rap may be the most detremental thing out there for poor urban people.

Americans who think that the US is the greatest bastion of freedom and democracy in the world and still feel that everyone being armed is the best guarantor of those freedoms are among the biggest hypocrites in the world.

"Democracy" in most major countries is a joke, and needs massive reforms.

I've met people of many different views, backgrounds, races, religions, etc, but still find it hard to believe that Fez can really exist.
