Uhmm, have you bought the game or are you currently using the warez version? Warez version might have some tech issues at times.

May be a problem with a corrupt file on your cd, or more likely the CD has a small flaw. This happens from time to time. You remember any error messages during install?

I'll have a look for the file when I get home tonight and see what it is....

It's a wonder splash - most likely for The Internet, since it's the only new one.

It seems to me to be a warez thing....cause I have no file in my civ3ptw folder called won_splash_74. The Interent splash is labelled....of all things, "internet"
The only files I can think of that have a number at the end like that are unit pediaicons, but none have that game.

I use retail, patched PtW BTW. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling?

That would make sense, especially if it's a pre-retail warez. They probably tidied up all the file names at the last minute from their working names.
