For Civ III I was able to reduce the font size, and I think I did it in an .ini file.

Now, having installed PTW, I can't find the .ini file for the basic Civ III game. Furthermore, the ptw.ini file doesn't have a fontsize line.

Is it now impossible to modify font size? Or is it done a different way?

The 'Civilization3.ini' file is created when you start your first game of civ3, is removed when you install a patch, and created again when you play your first game with the new patch. So that could explain why it disappeared when you installed PTW. Have you played a game yet?

Dunno about the fonts though.

I suspended a Civ III game in progress, and I haven't gone back to it, because I began a new PTW game. So that would explain why the civilization3.ini was missing. Thanks for that, zulu.

After reloading my Civ III game, then changing the font size in the new .ini file, I thought, well, maybe I could just add the line "MainFontSize=15" to the ptw.ini file, but that had no effect on the fonts in my PTW game.

So, anyone else have any ideas?
