	Team logo Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

Independent from the outcome of this poll, I've tried to create a couple of team logos for us. I think, logos with letters in it are pretty lame, so I tried to be some more creative. The style is always the same, I hope you like it. We have:

• a blue shield with a golden fortress tower (reminds a rook in chess, which is a TBS itself)
  
• a red shield with a silver sword
  
• a green shield with two crossed swords
  
• a teal shield with a double axe, I admit to be influenced by Minoic mythology
  
• another shield, with pure fantasy

Sir Ralph good good I like those! And you're right, letters in a box are kind of boring (haha those other fools are trapped with it now! )

Of those five I really like the green one in the middle...I've always liked green and silver together. My vote is for the green (if we dare to hold another vote! )

JUST out of curiousity.... (and I know everyone has mostly voted for the edited shield) Sir Ralph can you post me an example icon of the blue red gold, but instead change the blue to the dark green of the crossed-swords logo?
You changed it from light green to blue, well we never got to see dark green in it....I just need to be indulged just this once...Just to see how it looks....

We (myself included) got somewhat carried away on a different path from where we were originally, so where are the rest of our members who are supposed to be voting for a team name? We still do'nt have a name yet remember.... and that is something we need sooner than the logo I feel. Because we've basically got our logo, whether with a color change or not, it is still the same.

We need our name now. okay i'm done now.

re the Chevron, what are the possible heraldic meanings of the blue and the green?

I see the red and gold as being blood (conquest) and gold through struggle. The gold lines could be the lightning bolts of the precise, surgical strike. Is that about accurate?

The other half being something about building?

It looks like Gathering Storm and Slaughterhouse 13 will be far ahead, but neither will have 50%.

Having a run-off would be time consuming. Do we really want that?

How about: if when everyone has voted and there is no outright winner we just toss a coin between the two most-picked options? It'd be quick and easy.
