	Poll by Paw: Rename TTA Increase Your PM Length

OK. We have several useful suggestions for a name, some of which are quite good. So here's how it goes, people pick the name they want to adopt and post that choice below. That way we can tell who is voting for what, which may be important.

If none of the choices get 50% of the votes, then there will be a run off of the top two choices.

The choices are:
A. Gathering Storm
B. Golden Horde
C. Liberal Schola Assembly
D. Slaughterhouse 13
E. Thunder of Hooves

So, have at it. I will not vote for a while. I would like to observe what others think first.

I like this because of the reference and the connotation of slaughter. Also (ok, this is dumb) the 13, that we are individuals, but a team of 13. Yes I know that sounds corny, and yes I feel ashamed that I typed that.


Why not golden horde?
-only good if mongols
-too open for certain jokes

why not liberal schola?
-already a team with a latin name
-not unifying enough for me

why not gathering storm?
-I don't know

----though it does invite bad puns like "THE GATHERING STORM WILL RAIN ON YOUR PARADE, TRIP" and other crap like that.

why not thundering hooves?
-would suck if we don't have horses
-don't feel it would be appropriate unless we have horse based UU

But those are just my thoughts

I hope that the others vote early and often.

Well, I voted for Gathering Storm and that was the suggestion I made in the other thread. I wasn't hesitant to vote for my own suggestion because, well .... if I didn't prefer it to the other options I wouldn't have suggested it in the first place.

Anyway, I think all the ideas are good.

This should serve as a warning to the other voters:

Vote gathering storm only if you are prepared to hear the "clever" puns of the enemy.

Granted, their voices will be muted by our boots on their throats, but nonetheless, I don't want a name that is so easily ridiculed. So easily lampooned by even the least cultured and imaginative of our opponents.

I was merely pointing out that TRIP'S TEAM was likely to have a certain incentive to make fun of a team which was explicitly created to "trash" it

note: I have not been lurking (and therefore not posting) in other teams' threads. I understand that fear has motivated others to snoop in our threads, which I understand and will not condemn them for, but I have no such fear.

I vote for "gathering storm", but if "The Hammer of the Storm" becomes a legit option that will be my vote.

I'm not too worried about other teams using our name in vain ( ) , in fact any name-bashing can be expected, I figure I'll sling off a bunch of one-liners against Trip's Team and the Glorry of War, myself! etc etc. It should practically be expected.

However you non (TTA) members shouldn't really be conflicting with our issues here. Not really chivalrous of allovaya, get me? So please allow us to continue un-interrupted.... although Arnelos I believe was sincere and probably trying to help us out a little. The rest of you can die!

ughh what to vote for.....man. Difficult difficult....Okay I'll go beyond my own preferred vote of Thunder of Hooves (because it's mine) and go along with FP on Gathering Storm . That's my vote, alas it cannot be changed.

PS There is no possible way we will be a 'gathering storm' and remain stagnant the entire game. The rest of the teams will realize this soon enough. It's up to them to befriend us or make us enemies. Some have already drawn the enemy card, but I suggest we not tell them yet. haha.
