the 5th is too close to elections for my liking. I would prefer a date AFTER elections

The Constitution is something that is not weighed with enough symbolism for my taste although it can be celebrated by attorneys and lawyers as a great achievement (but they have already auto-congratulated themselves a lot ). I would not like to celebrate either the Income Tax Rates Summary or the General Customs Tariffs. All these important documents are not unique: we had a constitution before this one, and we will have another one when the Senate will find appropriate. As an example of events deserving celebration because they are unique in History I would mention the date we switch to Republic.
