I've been trying to make a custom SMAX faction, just a generic overbearing juggernaut, and I want to give it Fuel Nanocells free. The problem is, FACEDIT gives Dis Wave free when you try to select Nanocells, and ACEDIT is for Original SMAC. If anyone's interested, I'll post the .txt file later. I got around the whole Lots of Minerals=Lots of Eco-damage problem by reducing Hurry(to 1%) and setting Fungal Nutrients and Fungal Energy to give Way Too Darn Much. I also gave the faction a free Psi Gate, free Clean Reactor, and free AntiGrav Struts. Then I cut their terraform costs in half, made them immune to mind control, gave them two free techs(But no starting tech) and made them an Aquatic faction. That still wasn't enough, so I gave them 75% energy interest. It's still not enough, so if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to tell me.
(Yes, I do play this faction. The fun is seeing how long I can keep everyone at peace... Both with me, and with each other.)
