mmmhhh..... go and visit the beautiful hotels (built around the fifties) an example of Communist architecture!
Enjoy the supreme taste of grilled meat/fish (once you've eaten it for 10 days you'll probably had enough)...
Visit the cities, Zara, Split, travelling on the supreme costal road (two lanes!!! yes 450kms in two, I said TWO lanes one going North, the other going South).
Enjoy the beaches made of reinforced concrete...
Come on VetLegio!!!!
You can't even think to compare Croatia with Italy, France, Greece and Spain....
Culture, history, beaches people and a lot of other things...
... Croatia.... maybe in the next 100 years... |
Capitalist, mafioso
hey we are just finishing a motorway from north to south
as for culture... Greeks were settling on our islands too, so were Romans... heh, why do modern day Italian fascist still think that our coast is Italian
People well temperamental Croats or hairy Greeks are certainly better than Italian gangsters :tounge:
and the last, in beaches/clean sea well in that we certainly have the best of the west or Europe if that is better... OK Turkey and perhaps Greece has it the same or better but certainly not EU coast. Reinforced concrete certainly not in as many places as in Italy... .. If you said rocks... than most of it, but concrete??? You have to look hard to find some beaches like that.

again it's greek/roman culture not "croatian"... so if you want to see some greek/roman culture it's better to go in Greece or Italy isn't it?

Never claimed it, I think the Tirrenian is better than the Adriatic, a lot better...

my friend, no need to loo hard, just take a look to the 3 mt strip of rock AND concrete which is next to the impressive two-lane highway which runs throught Croatia or to a lot of beaches in the islands...
definitely Croatia has some impressive places but, in my opinion, Croatians will have to work very hard to compete with other EU countries. To have beautiful places is not enough...

PPS: who cares of the sport rating? Figi islands are ok so are Mauritius but I don't think they have good football teams...

Hey..
What's up with all this Italy-bashing from our Croatian neighbors, simply because we are leading this post with 14 points more than croatia
Croatia is a nice place, but I don't think you can say that Croatia is better than Italy, because Italy is much more various, we don't have just sport and beaches (which are very beautiful, especially in the Tuscan area), but we also have very famous monuments, palaces, we have a lot of cultural and historical places (and not just Roman times, but Medieval/Reinassance times too).
I'd like to come to Croatia, but if this is the treatment you give to Italians, than I think I better go to some other more friendly places

once you stop being a cheap bastard and spend more then 10 euro on a meal you ll get better food. italians are respected guests in croatia because they love and can afford good cousine
most of them anyway

when you drive a FIAT, every road is bad

there are rocky beaches, sand beaches and yes, concrete beaches in croatia. something for everyone

yes it is really a stretch to compare them with Croatia
they are totaly commercialised. it is really ugly for a guest when they charge for practicaly everything. it is not so in Croatia. yet

Croatian Medieval/Reinassance cities? Dubrovnik, Zadar, Trogir... etc. most of them have either Roman or Greek fondations too. There has been heavy Venetian influenze too, you see Croatian and Italian cultures have very strong connections that go way back

You think we need you or something?
Datajack insulted Janica and therefore was destroyed. For such actions, I have no mercy.
