	Pbem Support Apolyton, buy Civilization 2

Looking to start a game - 6 players. This game will be for those who are looking for a couple turns a week, but you must check your email often!) - if you plan on dying within a year, please don't play as I want to finish the game.

First six to list their tribe and email will join. I'm open for settings, but am leaning towards achepegalo (or however you spell it) so that we can get some naval action.

It might be worthwhile for everyone to pick a time window (an hour or two) that they would TRY to check for a turn every weekday. Then we could set the turn order accordingly. For example, I could probably check for a turn somewhere between 6 and 8pm est (unless work runs long) and could definately check between 6 am and 7:45 am est. I'd bet if we plan it well, we could do a cycle a day easy....

Forgot something: I will be in Asia visiting the in-laws for two weeks over Xmas. I can probably bring my CD's and install the game on my brother-in-law's computer, but I may be unable to do so. If you want to drop me, I understand.

Brizey - I don't think it'll be a problem, we all get a wee busy over christmas so i figure around then the game will slow down and pick up again in the new year.

Actually, that reminds me. I'll be gone November 25-30 and December 21-31. The places where I'll be may not have internet access (Especially where I'll be in late December... ) If you guys want to drop me, I'd understand as well....

So. Are we one for tonight for our kickstart? I will most likely be home around 6:30 pm central, or 7:30 eastern. (Since everyone else appears to be in the eastern time zone, why don't we just standardize to it? I'll make the adjustment). I will be a temporary bachelor, so I can dedicate a decent chunk of time to getting this thing going.

Another setting suggestion: standard sized map.

i just converted it all to est. i'm in mst... , well, i started the game yesterday and sent it to ze germans, (standard world), i should be around laster tonite, so i'm sure if we start er up around 7:00-7:30 est, we can do some damage!

People in other threads have been using a standard file naming system. I plan to keep a separate directory, but it may be a good idea to attach something like "EdenPBEM" to the beginning of the file name to reduce the chance of mixups. Also, let's post the "sent year xxxx to so-and-so" messages here so that we can track progress.
