	Team Leaders abilities: state your choices now! Remove this text

We have a leader/minister designation feature that it is now used in the memberlist

(if it is important to differentiate leaders from ministers it is possible to be done with some work)

We also have certain abilities for members that can be given to leaders. Right now each leader has the
- Can Authorize other members in this group
ability

The others are
- Can Ban (and unban) other members in this group
- Can Set what users that shall be ministers in the group
- Can Add other members in this group

Notes:
1) Banning someone form a group will (feature not done yet) mean loosing the ability to vote in the forum in which the team can vote(e.g. this forum for the ptw game) and access the team forum.
2) These abilties will not be able to be given from the leader to other members. e.g. if the leader is given the ability to set ministers it doesnt mean that the ministers will be able to set other ministers


I'd like each team leader to state what each team wants in terms of leader abilities.

Just in case you weren't aware, the team leader access panel is down (when I try to get to it it asks me to log in, I do, then it gives me a blank white screen).

This is probably obvious, but making the team leader the forum moderator for the team forum is probably a good idea.

Beyond that, I can't really think of any striking issues that would need to be addressed forum-wise... We'll see what everyone else thinks.

Has anyone ministerized gotten it to work?

Cause it works fine without it, but it asks me to log in, then gives me a page with the partial URL and a blank white page (as you've heard) when I do log in.

Trip, apolyton boards HAVE ALWAYS done that for when I went to edit a post or quote a post. I always assumed that was because I'm not using cookies, though

Maybe we should have a private forum for all the PTW Demo game members, for general discussions.. like talking about unfair playing, propoganda .. fun things too.

It would help if only PTW demo people could message here, so we couldn't get confused by posts from non members.
Non members could still read this forum, but have restrictions for posting.

We'd still need a PTW DEmo general chat for everyone and their pet dog.

Team leaders could control if their team can enter the general team forum.. but this is not very important.

more clarifications

- banning: it doesnt mean deletion from the team but loosing the abilities of the member(access to team forum, participation in polls)
- minister: just geting a cool star in the memberlist
- ability to add members: add people in the team without them doing anything or needing authorization

I need to request that the team leader have some sort of mod powers that allow him to delete and top threads.

I'm not sure what happened when the threads were created, but two other teammates of my mine created the same threads that I did. We have triple redundancy in our forum. I'm going to have to go crack some heads.

Been a while now. Everyone from the Gathering Storm who has spoken has spoken in favour of the ideas to give one of us the keys to the kingdom.

Being able to lock and top threads would be useful, not required, but useful.
