Conquest by Taking one city?!? Suffering from ads?

I've run into a problem where whenever a civilization loses a city, be it myself or a computer controlled civ, the rest of the civilization collapses and is destroyed. I've had this happen on a couple different difficulty levels and I've double checked the victory conditions to make sure that nothing funky is going on there. Has anyone else had this problem?

Tired of ads?

Turn off "elimination" next time you play and you will have no more problems.

As long as you're not on the wrong end of the elimination of course.

As vapor311 said try turning elimination off next time you start a game.

That's because everyone uses every mod (Hm, this? Oh, yes, why not. Sounds good) without knowing them or reading the manual ;-))))
