I dont think so. In any case the AI seems to suck in MP from what I've seen.

I thought there was a way to make them AI. Might have been from pre-release descriptions of PBEM.

I should be home most of the day (I live in the DFW area, and the street I live on is a solid sheet of ice).

I never said it was a rip. If you want to jump to conclusions, go jump another way. I would recommend civ3 to those with money to spare and probably PtW will become a decent game. I'm just tired of the way it has all been handled. By the time the game is 'finished' we've been playing it for a year. Should we wait another 9 months for PtW to be a good game. Not me, not any more.

Sorry for jumping to conclusions. I am just disappointed in how it has been handled as well and feel the $30 was a little much. Now that it has been patched some it makes it much easier to swallow than when I first dropped the cash. 1.04 was pretty pathetic.

I hope they actually "finish" the game though.

I just wonder whether Firaxis/infogreed has clued in yet as to how many of their old-time supporters they're alienating. It seems like so many of us have said the same thing. I just put my comments in my sig to draw comment (hopefully from Firaxis). Maybe they are counting on a new crop of players, I dont know, but it doesnt seem like a good business strategy to me. There are too many other good games out there and under development.

I upgraded to Windows XP last week and for some reason Outlook Express won't let me open or save any PBEM files. Please post the save on the forum until I can figure out what's happening.

If the attachments are greyed out then you need to go to Options->Tools->Security and uncheck the "Do not allow saving of attachements that may be viruses"

I did patch but had to take it out because of other games where players had non US versions. I uninstalled 1.21 then ran the 1.14 patch. If you play MP (I dont) you might want to double install (there's a thread by sir ralph).
