	City Names Remove this text

Looking for suggestions so we can have a poll.

My idea is that in homage to our Civ we retain the Capital's name as Carthage and from then on each member gets to name a city in an order we can sort out. Maybe the order we joined the group.

I say we should stick with the original names. Otherwise each citizen/member (what are we, anyway, Legos or what?) will tend to protect/develope his "own" city.

I say we change names, just to have fun, building names. In the PS DG, people didn't really attempted toprtect their renamed cities.

I think we should definately rename our cities to give our civilization a little more personality. I think it will give people a certain attachement to cities, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. That way cities have more identity, and are easier to differentiate. I mean, how interested will you really be in the development of "Leptis Magna?"

I think we should go with the default capital name for our first city. After that, I think we should let each citizen name (or, if we've gone a-conquering recently, rename) a city; starting with those in the government, and then going through the rest of the team either randomly or by seniority.

OK, rename them then. How about great buildings' names? Like "The Golden Gate Lego" or "Phartenon Lego" ? Hmm. Better ideas?

I'm all for Legopolis as our capital. From there, I think naming cities after ourselves is ok Or, perhaps after events that shaped the founding (or taking) of the city... I think the first city we ever take from Gathering Storm must be renamed "Drought."

I think we do need to change the names of our cities in case our opponents have already memorized Carthage's city names.

Sticking to the original names would be fine with me.

Choosing names to the theme is also fine. Legopolis sounds just fine to me and letting each member to name one city is also a good idea - will save us countless polls on city names. Let's hope everybody will stick to the theme...

Guess I should update this thread now that things are more concrete.

I personally wouldn't like a city named after me (or then, just plain 'Spiffor' if we're out of ideas). If I get to name a city, I'd like to name it

Edit How come I wrote a name as lame as "Red City" without noticing for more than a day. Red Brick is still lame, but much less

Port Lego is nice, or Port Jack, but should this city be in Top5, everybody will know that we have a harbor city. Maybe we should skip the "port" part (though I like it). We can rename it later or keep the name for a later date.
