A word of welcome from the founder of this newspaper, Floris Petro Rulio Olstorne:

Greetings, fellow Spaniards!

I am glad that all things are settled now and that the distribution of the Stone of Spain can now begin. I hope that in publishing the latest news I can uphold the honour and strength of our great tribe and our even greater leader Togas. Now our tribesmen will get in touch with the splendour and might so characteristic of Spain. That about covers what I had to say.

"TOGAS, OH HE IS GREAT"
Floris Olstorne declared, in an exclusive interview with the Stone of Spain: "Togas, oh he is great." This shows just how popular our leader is. The rest of the interview was not worth publishing.

TERRIBLE ACCUSATIONS MADE BY DAVOUT
Recently, Davout showed on the public forum to Togas a list of fellow tribesmen accompanied by all sorts of accusation, probably not true. Mr. Olstorne said: "This is not true." Here are some extractions from his list: "adaMada : Suspect. His PM box is known to be full most of the time which indicates that he has connections with many people certainly conspiring against your Supremity" and "History Guy : Extremely suspect. His name alone is an insult to your Supreme knowledge." Squid emperor Hernan de History Guy Calamari warned that "insults such as that gain enemies." We will follow Davout carefully, and bring you the latest scoop on his doings.

Mine isn't really a newspaper it is supposed to something more along the lines of the political pamplets and tracts published in the Colonies prior to the American Revolution.

If anybody has some good political propaganda for me to put in it feel free to let me know.

In fact it is a "newsstone" The editor puts the jeroglifics in a big stone in the Plaza del Sol and everyone can go there and read it.
