	Demogyptica intelligence Support Apolyton

Since I'm able to lurk in their civ3.de forum and they don't use a private forum yet, I can see first proposals for the civs to choose. Egypt seems to be something like a holy cow there and will probably be their first choice. A second choice may be the Arabs (rel/exp/Ansar 4.2.3).

We should make our choice soon official, may be we can influence their poll. Thoughts? Poobah?

EDIT: Duh, expansionist and not industrious. A typo. DeepO: nothing worth to mention. As soon as there's something, I'll post it here.

What else are you seeing from lurking? (I briefly looked through it, but didn't found enough time to be thorough)

I see no great advantage in hiding what civ we'll be, and if we stake our claim, we can hope that Demogyptica will be willing to defer to a more established Apolytonian group's desire to play Egypt. So I favor going ahead and making our preference public.

The Demogyptians wish to send scouts our way ASAP. In doing so they'd like rough directions.

My thinking is such at this time that I support isolationism for the time being. We haven't yet made contact, and I would hope that we are in pretty good shape by the time we DO make contact.

I'll say this much, I'm a little more prone to trusting them than Lux Invicta or the Warmongers....

I'm not, on the subject of the scout. The scout they send could easily scout most of the area we will build the core of our empire in, thereby giving them a map of most of our nation. I almost laughed when I read that bit.

I trust your first instinct more. Stay isolationist until we have at least one contact. Then, as discussed, arrange meetings well away from our settled (or settling) area.
