	SonNES (Sonic's Never Ending Story) Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations: Deluxe Edition

Well, I've decided to start a new NES . There will be 10 countries (you can become leader of each) and 7 people groups (you could aslo control each), thus there are 17 available positions. In this post there will be list of countries and a map of them and in the second post - list of people groups and map of them (people's groups are designated by various parameters, including locations, languages, religions, origins, etc.).

History is quite short - it is year 2020, because a certain nuclear defense technology was created which rendered nukes useless back in 2010, it is obvious that wourld soonly turned in what it was in the first part of XX age - world, with frequen wars with clashing superpowers. Soonly enough the "superpowers" conquered or peacefully taken all the independent nations. There are ten superpowers, you can choose any of them (you can not read history if you don't want to, history sections are just informational):

1.European Union

Economy - Very Good
Government - Democracy; federation; moderate left
History - European Union expanded and now includes more nations - all the current countries and Albania, Slovenia, Serbia and Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, FYROM, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary. Also, it became a federation instead of current status and aquired army. Currently it has the biggest GNP per capita in the world, but doesn't spends much money to the army. EU also has exteriotorial territory in South America, former French Guyana.

2.Republic of Panturkistan
Land Army - Medium
Air Force - Small
Navy - Small
Intelligence - Good
Economy - Mediocre
Government - Democracy controlled by army; federation; moderate right
History - After Turkey repeadetly wasn't admitted to EU and after year 2010, when all the countries became more agressive, Turkey had to quickly find a way to expand it's power if it didn't wanted to be conquered by Russia or Arabs. Then it decided to renew it's relations with other Turkic states in mid Asia, which also feared Russian invasion. Later all the Turkic nations formed a new country, Panturkistan (a secular muslim state), which was officially a democracy but actually army had the power behind government. Later Iran also joined Panturkistan because of fear of Arab invasion. Despite of Panturkistan's pressure Armenia didn't joined it and later, in fear of Panturkish invasion, it joined Russia - and that made two Panturkish lands (Turkey and mid-Asia) separated. Neither Arabs, neither Russians still did not gave permition for Panturkish transit over their territory.

3.Novaya Russia

Air Force - Large
Navy - Medium
Intelligence - Mediocre
Economy - Bad
Government - Totalytarism; federation; far left
Communists came back in power in Russia in 2012, just after the loose of nuclear abilities. Later Russia insisted communist coups in Ukraine and Georgia, which kicked governments there and new ones immidietly joined Russia, which was renamed to "Novaya Russia" after that. Belarus joined Russia without a coup while Armenia joined Russia since it feared Panturkish invasion. At last, after a fascist government was elected in Latvia and started to kill Russians there, Russia invaded and overtaken Latvia. Russia also planned to invade Kazakhstan, but after Panturkistan was formed it became much harder.

4.NATC (North Atlantic Treaty Confederation)

Air Force - Large
Navy - Large
Intelligence - Bad
Economy - Good
Government - Democracy; confederation; hard right
History - After the "nuclear era end" NATO was soonly restructurised to a confederation, used to defend it's countries from foreign invasion. Countries, which were in both EU and NATO had to choose which organization to join. Poland, UK, Lithuania, Bulgaria and Romania decided to remain members of NATO (now NATC). Also, Mexico, Jamaica, Israel and Dominican Republic joined the alliance. Although the alliance is considered one country, people of it has different citizeships and each country has it's own constitution. NATC fights for justice and tries to maintain present borders of all countries and prevent WW3.

5.People's Republic of China
Land Army - Huge
Air Force - Small
Navy - Small
Intelligence - Good
Economy - Mediocre
Government - Authoritarism; unitarian; hard left
History - After the end of nuclear era PRC have expanded rapidly. Pakistan joined PRC in exchange for a promise to conquer India. China done what it promised and conquered India, also Nepal and Bhutan in the way. Later it invaded Taiwan, while Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam (and later DPRK) joined China on themselves, because they feared invasion of ÌõãúåõæÑöíøóÉ ÔóåöíÏ ÅöÓúáÇãöíø . Later China invaded and conquered ANgola, which is currently an overseas territory. PRCs government became less communistic and less totalytarian as more and more types of bussines were allowed over a time. It still remained left, but not so dictatorship.

6. ÌõãúåõæÑöíøóÉ ÔóåöíÏ ÅöÓúáÇãöíø

Navy - Large
Intelligence - Very Good
Economy - Bad
Government - Extreme Islamism; unitarian; far right
History - In about 2010 Indonesia was already not a country and had losty most of it's provinces. In that time Jammah Islamyah kicked out the government ans started using very aggressive politics. Soon all the archipelago was reconquered (including East Timor and, despite of Australian protests, Papua New Guinea) and then Jammah Islamyah forces in Philipines, Brunei, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Thailand and Burma at one single time started rebellions, which ended with Indonesian invasions. Non-muslims in each country were prosecuted and killed, burned in main squares, raped and robbed. Despite of all world protests Indonesia (and Jammah Islamyah) also burned all the non-muslim tourists which were in country at a time. After that, country (where non-muslims still makes about half of population, especially in Asian part of it) renamed itself to ÌõãúåõæÑöíøóÉ ÔóåöíÏ ÅöÓúáÇãöíø and forbidden to anyone to write it's name in any other language then Arabic, designated as "only legal language".

7.Arab Caliphate

Air Force - Tiny
Navy - Tiny
Intelligence - Good
Economy - Mediocre
Government - Islamism; unitarian; center
History - With the fear of being attacked and conquered because of resources (primarily oil), arab nations joined to a single country, New Arab Caliphate, which later dropped word "new" from it's name. Caliph was elected by members of government from all Arabic countries. Later Caliphat waged it's first and only war, against Iran, in which it conquered part of Iran thus separating Iran from Turkey and thus making it impossible for Panturkistan to move troops between Turkish and mid Asian parts even after Iran joined. Suez chanell is being used only by Arabs. Caliphate controls 80% of world oil.

8.Union of New Apartheid
Land Army - Medium
Air Force - Medium
Navy - Large
Intelligence - Bad
Economy - Good
Government - Democracy (only whites has suffrage); confederation; far right
History - Far right white supremacist party won in Australian elections and after that Australia banned immigration of non-whites and started exiling it's non-white people to Oceanian islands. New Zeland and most of Oceanian small states also joined Australia later and after a huge outclash between white supremacists (some of them were Australian citizens) and police forces in South Africa, Australia decided to help white supremacists and invaded South Africa. Later "new apartheid" was installed in South Africa, enslaving all blacks, many of them were sent as slaves to Australia to do all the worst jobs. Later South Africa, which also became quite militaristic, with the help from Australia invaded and conquered Namibia and Lesotho. Both states (RSA and Australia) officially united after that and formed Union of South African Republic and Australia (USARA), which later renamed itself to Union of New Apartheid.

9.Japanese Empire
Land Army - Small
Air Force - Medium
Navy - Medium
Intelligence - Bad
Economy - Very Good
Government - Constitutional monarchy; unitarian; slight right
History - An economic powernhouse started to invest money in army after 2010s invention but it's army still can't be compared to armies of other countries. Later Japan united with South Korea, because the later feared Chinese invasion. Although China threatened Japan with the invasion several times, everything remains calm.

10.Commonwealth of Free World
Land Army - Huge
Air Force - Small
Navy - Medium
Intelligence - Medium
Economy - Very Bad
Government - Democracy; confederation; slight left
History - Union of third world countries, which was made in third world congress after China conquered Angola and Australia conquered RSA, Namibia and Lesotho. It was seen then that if not unity third world will be recolonised again. Pact was signed, which formed Commonwealth of Free World. Possibly the only country without any supremacism, fascism, etc. where all nations, religions and races lives together calmly and peacefully (except some local conflicts in Africa). However, that does not makes the country any richer. By the time, it is the poorest country and spreaded HIV makes it even harder to make a living here.

11.Switzerland
Land Army - Tiny
Air Force - Tiny
Navy - No
Intelligence - No
Economy - Good
Government - Democracy; federation; medium right
History - Currently is the last independent non-superpower and thus remains at mercy of European Union.

Please note that intelligence rating means how good the country is at hosting coups, terror acts, assasinations in other countries and how good it is to stop such things in it's own country. Economy rating means countrie's ability to buy everything, also to invest to new technologies and maintain/upgrade army.

OK, so you can now choose any country you like to rule. We will start the NES once the first several countries will be choisen.

Well, this is a post describing people's groups (plz first take countries, I will control all the people group's at the start).


Also please note that in map above the unnamed state (dark gray) is ÌõãúåõæÑöíøóÉ ÔóåöíÏ ÅöÓúáÇãöíø , but I was not able to write it's name in MS Paint, since there is no Arabic fonts in Paint (and I was too lazy to draw it symbol by symbol). You also won't be able to see the name if you don't have Arabic driver on your Explorer... The rose country on the map is obviously switzerland.

OK, here are list of cultural groups, which were choisen by various parameters, including languages, origins, religions, races, nationalities, etc. (more info about them on the map):

Romanic (Romanic, mostly catholic, countries and their former colonies where their citizens overthrown local people, also so-called "latinos")

Germanic (Germanic, mostly protestant, countries and their former colonies where their citizens overthrown locals, also includes other Northern Europeans - Baltic and Fino-Ugru)

Arabic (Arabic or other muslims, mostly radical muslims)

Slavic (Slavic, mostly orthodox, includes certain part of Eastern Europe and Russia except Chechenya and Tatarstan)

African (Non-muslim (mostly animist, but also christian)blacks from Africa or elsewhere, also other animists, including Papua New Guineans)

Turkic (Mostly Turkic people, supporters of secular kind of Islam)

Asian (Asians, of Hindu, Budhist and Sintois religions, who mostly uses non-latin Alphabet, etc.)

Jewish (Jewish part of Israel. Probably won't be the biggest group, but I seriously didn't wanted to add Jews to nearby muslims, neither to Asians, neither to Turks, neither to any European group or blacks...)

You can choose these groups to rule, but please choose countries first.

Here is the map (dots on the map means minorities; the controller of people in minority won't be able to do much nor overpower the government, etc but could still pressure government on certain issues. Please note that in some places minorities are in rule. Here is the list of minorities if you are not able to see the color of these small dots:
Slavic minorities in Latvia, Estonia, North Kazakhstan and Chechenya
Secular Muslim minority in Western Mongolia
African minorities in Eastern USA, Saharan Africa, Brazil, Australia (which is here since their exile from RSA read New Apartheid's history in post above to learn more)
Romanic minorities in Western USA, South Africa (here this minority is ruling with the support of Australians), South and Southeast Canada
Radical muslim minorities in Indonesia and Malaysia (where those minorities are in power and holds army), also in Western Africa and Tanzania.)

Could you please sign a deal to exchange erritories - to exchange a part of Iran you've taken (that one bellow Russian controlled Armenia) into some other territories. This way we would be able to do troops transit between both parts of our country.

OOC: Jemmah Islamiyah means "Islamic Group" in Arabic, it wouldn't be quite realistic for country to be called "Islamic Group". OK, we can now use a translation of it's Arabic name, which would be something like "State of Islamic Martyrdom"

OOC: Trickey, well, if so I could give you both Switzerland and EU since if you'd control only Switzerland you wouldn't be able to do anything because it is an EU enclave and also a very weak and small country... So would you take both EU and Switzerland?

Russia to UNA: We understand, however we need to talk more about strategy of waging war. Russia is far from the State of Islamic Martyrdom, it would be hard for us to wage a strike. It is very hard to land an army from ships immidietly to enemy territory, since it takes time to unpack. It would be easier if China would allow us to use their territory or air force or if Japan would allow to use it's airbases... You could try to settle an agreement on that.

A terror act just occured in Sydney, a restaurant exploded, killing 40 Australians. Although no clear evidence was found, Jammah Islamiyah was most likely responsible for an incident. Currently UNA intelligence is bad while Indonesian (SIM) one is very good, and this makes it very hard for UNA to stop terrorism...

The UNA has announced they have found evidence linking the Sydney bombing to SIM (OOC: they actually don't they just say they do).

UNA to SIM: Pay us $200 million in reparatations for the bombing and pledge to support no more terrorists (if you break this it will automatically mean war) or face war.

UNA to Russia (top secret): Try with both Japan and China. And please don't mention me.

All secret:
UNA is sending a third of its South African forces to Australia.

In 5 years, the UNA will be large.
The UNA is working on improving its intelligence. It should improve to mediocre in anywhere between 2 and 5 years.

Jemmah Islamiyah reacted immidietly to claims that it organised terrorist act in Sydney. The following was done:
JI (government of SIM) immidietly recalled it's ambassador from UNA and said it breaks all diplomatic ties with UNA. Later Australian ambassador in Jakarta was arrested along with his family and burned in the main street. JI inciated a "flag burning ceremony" in Jakarta, people were asked to bring all the UNA flags they have to a giant fire in the mains street of Jakarta. The following is the official letter by leader of Jemmah Islamiyah to the leader of UNA:
"We do condemn your actions against our state, both in words and talks. China noted us that you've asked them to do a military alliance against them. Such things won't be tolerated anymore. If you will do anything like that again, who knows what could happen"
Also, certain info came to UNA leaders that Jammah Islamiyah is selling weapons to a group of black Islamist rebels in South Africa.

State of Islamic Martyrdom to Arab Caliphate and NATC and now also EU - we do repeatedly ask you to help us stop UNA agression.
