But UN Peacekeeper laws extend only within UNP borders, and as I sated earlier I downloaded the material in question weeks prior to my return from University territory, and UofP freedom of information laws allow for the total and complete freedom of information, regardless of copyright, therefore I cannot be tried under Peacekeeper laws for an act committed in University territory.

Voltaire, this is no excuse. The University laws only concern reseacrh materials, not artistic projects.

My understanding of University laws is that they concern themselves with the total free flow of all information, including artistic projects. But that is a non-issue, I will concede that I am in the wrong and will pay reparations to compensate for the damage done by my actions (call it an out of court settlement).

I still stand by my opinion that we should scrap all intellectual property rights laws and allow for total freedom of information.

You know what; we need to move closer in line with University policy in regards to copyright. I say scrap ALL copyright laws, they just infringe on our freedom.
