	whats a good score? Support Apolyton, buy Alpha Centauri

i just finnished my first full ptw game. i scored a shade over 3500. how is that for PTW?

Really, well, I do not know. Last I saw was a tad higher for Civ III, something like 63,455 or something like that.

Scores are very much tied to the victory conditions and the game settings. Finishing early brings a high score. Size of the map with impact as you will have more cities (typically). The happiness of your people as well. he higest score willbe an exteremely fast win. A game on a huge map played with only conquest will net a good score as you will have time to build many cities and jack the pop up. You will see score from 1800's to 6000 range for the most part. Wininig in one day gets around 32K. Look at the AU thread and you can see lots of scores.

I really never cared about scores but I know that your score increases (almost exponentially) in higher levels.

	Inflate your Upload Space

I scored 6600 in a multiplayer game with 4 other people. 2 dropped out early because of lag. The other player dropped out after I beat his ass with horseman.

That seems to inflate the score pretty well . Because I was still in the ancient age and had only like 12 low pop cities.
