	Editor Questions Got spare money?

Hi

I have some editor questions.

Will marking "wheeled" in unit's abilites change how they work at all? I wanted to make it impossible for most ancient units to cross mountains without a road, and marking them as "wheeled" is the only way I can see to do that.

Also, is there a way to edit the costs of certain things in trade? To be specific, I want to make the cost of selling a civilization contact much much more expensive. Is there a way to do this?

I'm looking to do all of this in the scenario editor, if possible, because I want to make this into a multiplayer game.

The 'wheeled' thiong should work. As far as raising the price for contact, I don't think so.

Remember that setting the "Wheeled" attribute to a unit also applies to jungles. I've done it with armored units (tanks, etc.) to give more usefulness to foot units.

What are you going to do about Hannibal and his Elephants crossing the Alps? Assume that it was roaded??

erm, there were in fact roads there then, you know, the romans IRL were famous for it (in the game they are famous for budding up with greece against me, imagine my pleasure when I as Cleo beat the crap out of alex and got ceasar as my lapdog *stroke stroke* good boy)

He should. He used a North African (now extinct ) species, not the Indian. This "Nabatean" elephant
species measured about 2.35 meters at the shoulder, the Indian measures just under 3 meters and the African bush type about 3.5 meters, and the (also extinct) Syrian may have reached 3.6 meters or more.

The sub-Saharan African species is not domesticable.

BTW, IIRC something like 3 out of his original 37 actually SURVIVED crossing the Alps ...
