Eradicate it? Maybe, maybe not. Certainly not easily. But Hamas isn't in very good condition these days - much of it's military wing (at least those in the West Bank) has been killed or imprisioned.

yes we can do that , but we dont want any children or innocent people being hit , ......
the terrorist put people in the buildings they have , older and young people , , single woman , etc , ...... a sniper gets on the roof and shoots , when we fire in selfdefense with a .50 and hit the floors below there is the risk of innocent bystanders getting hit , we dont want that , .....
if certain units would get a "catre blanche" for 4 to 6 weeks they would be out of work , ...... but there is the risk that more then 100 people get the farm , ..... and that risk is to great , ......

Certainly the (re)building up of a Palestinian economy is something that is goig to play an important role in a succesful peace proccess and a stable Palestinian state. But unless the terrorist infrastructure is completely dismantled (and a Palestinian government exists that will work at preventing that infrastructure from rebuilding), it's all to easy for the money (or the products that money is used for) to be diverted to use for terrorism, which just brings the thing back to square one.
