Well, the the Giant Bird World is a little polluted isn't it? I sent turn 222 to blackice. Just so you know, most of my experience is on Civ3 (I just got CTP a couple weeks ago). I've only played CTP a couple times and I haven't made it to the space age yet. So, if you see my space planes acting weird, I'm just trying to figure out how they work--and then I'll send them to destroy you all

Quick question: when my turn started, I only saw MY troop movements. Shouldn't I be able to see any of your movements that are in my "viewing area"? Just wondering if something is weird. Or maybe it's just that nobody is moving around me right now.

Looking forward to the next turn.

Wuerters news report:

Today the liberation citizens army of Incans called in support from the Assyrian defence forces and quelled several city uprisings. There were numerous Incan rebel forces killed or captured. The combined forces suffered no casualties. Several cities were purged of the muderous rebel of the old Incan regime. Heavy fighting was reported but quickly the combined forces moved in and the fighting ended before night fall.

Supreme allied commander was quoted today as saying, "the Incan people will be liberated and thier independence assured within the year". This comes as good news to the stock markets as shares soared on the open market. Both economies are doing well dispite the weak attempts of the rebels to disrupt trading.

The Assyrian commander in the field confirmed we have began troop withdrawls. Soon the Incan Liberation party will be all thats needed he said. We expect to have our troops out by fall. The new interm government is expected to go to general elections within a year.

In several cities accross both nations celebrations took place as the war nears an end... freedom is at thier finger tips and no one will stop the peoples will for freedom. That said general Inacare of the incan liberation forces added: " People of the Incan states we will soon see the horrors of the last dictator fade" Thousands of people cheered and partied through the night.

I enjoyed the Assyrian news brief. I sure wish we could see other people's troop movements in our territory. Turn sent to blackice and his Incan liberation forces. The Mexican newswire reports a new government initiative focused on socio-economic restructuring. This is reported to be the brainchild of the newly elected president. Burritos were doled out to the masses to celebrate.

It is a great day for the world, our Russian bothers we salute you. We will of course dismantle all nuclear weapons.

It has come to pass, in a desprite last minute move the tyrant of the Incan people enslaved his people and proclaimed a new nation called the Hebrews. In the final hours even the supporters of this madman rebeled. His fate was sealed and with very little resistance the Incan peoples army swept the last stronghold of the former tyrant. Within hours the fighting ended, the Incan people are once again free peoples of the world.

It is unknown the fate of the tyrant but rummor has it he was hanged in the street by his very own special service troops. That concludes this chapter in the worlds history, said Major Kanatial of the peoples Incan army. We hope this is a true lesson for all would be tyrants in this world. The people will not stand by and watch an insane dictator destroy a once proud nation. Our objective now is to help our people's regain it's once proud peaceful place in the world's free societies.

Major Laniastio of the Assyrian southern front had very little to say, but that the people, the Incan people today are free.

Latest Mexican news brief:
We bid a sad farewell to the stalwart Incans. They have fallen to war, political intrigue and economic turmoil, a fate that we hope isn't awaiting any other civilizations in this war torn world. Information gathered from Incan refugees points to the dubious claims of the conquering army to be a "liberating force". In their honor, the Mexicans have begun work on a small memorial to those that died in the conflict. And to the Hebrews we say, well . . . we would have liked to get to know you better. Theirs was a short, yet colorful history as they too fell prey to the Assyrian juggernaut. It remains to be seen whether lasting peace will be brought to the region.

In other news, the Mexican congress has passed a bill agreeing to full nuclear disarmament, following the lead of the Russians who have paved the way toward a more peaceful future. We applaud their example.

The traitorous Chinese have broken their peace treaty with the Mexicans, making it very difficult to continue peace talks in the current political climate. We only pray that the conflict will not escalate and that the barbarous Chinese will be brought to the table to negotiate a lasting peace.

Yeah, I'm at 73% and getting a C-. I would assume that those huge downturns in the power graph have something to do with that--somebody took a good chunk out of me and I have noticed at least a few Russian cities with awfully spanish lookin' names.

Congrats on the 103% blackice. That extra 3% percent must explain why your space bombers and fighters have been spilling into my airspace . . . Good thing we're all nice and friendly nowadays--lots of good stable peace treaties . . .
